How early should you book? If you are celebrating a special occasion or that special honeymoon and know the cottage you want and the specific dates you need, call early. We adhere strictly to the "first come" booking policy. |
Rates Our rates differ from Cottage to Cottage, Season to Season. We also have different discount schedules for extended stays (and that changes with the seasons). We sometimes offer specials for a particular season and have Last Minute Opportunities. Moreover, our cottages are priced for two guests. Added occupancy may require additional charges OR NOT depending on cottage and season. Complicated, but we think FAIR. Please call and we would be happy to quote you a price for your special cottage on your specific dates, for the number in your party. You may be pleasently surprised.

OUR PRICING SEASONS 2008 (Based on length of day and probability of sun, etc) Spring Dream Season: May 9th thru June 12th Summer High Season: June 13th thru September 13th Fall Dream Season: September 14th thru October 4th Fall Secret Season: October 5th thru November 1st* *remarkably beautiful time of year--fall colors, red sunsets (really!) Payment We ask for 1.2. or 3 Nights deposit* depending on the length of your stay. When we receive your deposit, we send out a written confirmation telling you the balance and date due. The balance amount will include TAX and when applicable Discounts and additional pet fees, etc. We ask for Full Payment one month prior to arrival."** We aslo ask that all reservations made within a month of arrival be confirmed with a credit card. *Please understand the we cannot hold specific dates for you without a deposit. Thus reservations not confirmed with a deposit within seven days of booking may be subject to automatic cancellation. **full payments more than seven business days delinquent without communication may be considered a cancellation. |
Return Policy Our reservations are on a "first come" basis. After your reservation is confirmed, others wanting your time are turned down and scheduled around you. In case of cancellation, your payment, less a $30 fee, will be refunded pending rebooking of your reservation dates. While we make every effort to rebook your dates, please understand that we may not always be able to do so. Therefore, we ask our guests to call with any questions or changes in schedule as soon as possible. |
Pricing and Cottage Size Our cottages sit alone on their respective properties which represent the very best Orcas Island has to offer. As such, cottage size has very little to do with our pricing. Please consider the entire experience and the extent to which we work to ensure your very private space. |

Early Booking Policy We ask for a non-refundable early booking charge of $30 when accepting bookings for the NEXT calendar year. This amount will be applied towards your deposit, due January of the reserved year. "Deposit request letters" will be sent out via email in early January.* We ask that the reservations be confirmed with a deposit within seven business days. While we will make every effort to contact you, reservations not confirmed with requested deposit within this time frame, without more, may be considered a cancellation and your dates will be made available to WAITING others. Please Communicate with us if your schedule conflicts with this policy to make alternate arrangements. NO EARLY BOOKINGS WILL BE ACCEPTED IN DECEMBER, 2008. REQUESTS for THREE NIghts or More HIGH & DREAM SEASONS please. Please understand that we will be turning down others wanting your time (or placing them on waiting list as they request). Thus,we ask that you call with any questions or with changes in schedule as soon as possible. If you know that the dates no longer work for you, please tell us. It is unfair to others planning their special honeymoon or anniversary celebration to indefinately keep dates you no longer need. Also, we frown upon over-booking. We will be accepting reservations around you. Thus, if you book 5 nights when you only need 4 and we have already booked the nights around you, we may be compelled to ask you to cancel your entire reservation rather than to be left with an 'unbookable' one night hole. *for early bookings you must have a valid email address. please keep us current. |
