I am always blown away by some of the prose and poetry I find in our guest books.  Whether it is that poets are attracted to our cottages or a stay at our cottages make poets out of them (that is being presumptious, isn't it), there are some really good ones. . .

 

Profound silence;

Brown and white deer;

Kingfisher on the dock at dusk;

Bald eagle fly bys;

Sunny morning bird symphonies;

J pod Orcas;

Vin rose from Provence and Wshington Dry Reisling;

Bucks in early summer velvet;

Starfish, with a pillow to match;

Long hours of daylight;

Seaside Hammock;Seal Swimming past at breakfast;

Rainy morning fires;

Hummingbirds that love the red windows;

 Mom and baby white and brown deer;

Summer Solstice parace on our last day!

One week in June, one week in heaven.
